Well, people, the wheels fell off the whole blogging thing pretty quick. This is pretty much the fourth blog of mine that’s started…feeble and fizzled after a few posts. Content marketer, I am not.
Still, onward! Since I last wrote, there’ve been a billion things going on: hackathons, Startup Weekend, and Oktoberfest. Serious business. But it hasn’t all been fun and games! I’ve learned a huge amount. Let’s take a look:
More than the individual topic, though, I continue to be really blown away by how much I can understand by just reading a codebase. I’ve also started to be able to troubleshoot my way outta corners; the first time I steered myself back on course, I audibly w00ted.

We ended week four being told that we now knew the seven routes that are virtually standard in any rails app. I smirked and made a LOTR joke in my head while hoping I wasn’t the only one, but I am a particular strain of nerd, so who knows.
